We hope everyone had a terrific holiday break! We were so excited to get back in the swing of things this week! In the blue folder this week, you will find the January newsletter, their Arctic adventure Flyer for Thursday, their report card, and their weekly work packet.
Please send back their report card envelope signed as well as their yellow weekly work packet. You may keep the actual report card.

Hello! Welcome to our class blog! Mr. Chio and I are going to be your 3rd grade teachers this year. We are so excited to meet you and hope you have fun in our class this year! I know we are going to have a fabulous school year full of fun and learning. Enjoy your last couple of days , we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday at Meet and Greet and Open House. Remember if your last name is A-M 1:30-2:00 and if your last name is N-Z 3:15-3:45! We can't wait to start school with you on Thursday, August 1st !

Dear Parents and families,
Field Day and Fun Run Day is approaching and is Friday May 10th. Please make sure your student wears tennis shoes-NO flip flops or sandals are allowed! Also, please make sure your student wears their BLUE Strong for Life Shirt they received this year. (There is no rain date) If it is sunny, we recommend to put on sunscreen before coming to school. Also, on this day, we will have sack lunches. We hope they all have fun at the FUN RUN and Field Day. Please continue to Pledge at www.funrun.com ! If your student wishes to buy KONA ICE, they may purchase it for $3.00 the day of.
Our classroom awards party will be on Monday, May 13th, at 12:30 in our classroom. You are invited to attend the awards party and stay for refreshments afterwards. Your child is in charge of bringing a salty treat, a sweet treat, drinks: juice or water, or paper products. Please provide enough of your item for our ENTIRE 3rd grade class and any guests to share. Please send in the item for your child’s class on the morning of Monday, May 13th. If you choose to check your child out early, you will be able to do so!
